I remember one day last year, while looking at a picture of Tina Fey in a magazine, I noticed a fairly large scar in the left side of her face and asked my co-worker, "What is that scar from?" He looked at me baffled, dismayed - as if I had asked why Madonna still has a tooth gap - widely known questions that have no answers.

"It is the mystery that will never be solved," he explained, at which point he brought me over to his computer and showed pictures of Tina Fey, almost all which are taken of the right side of her face. He then showed me websites dedicated to unearthing the secrets of the Tina Fey scar.

My personal favorite is The Tina Fey Scar Detective, a website that describes itself as the following: "Tina Fey's Scar. A mystery. For some, an obsession. There are more questions than answers. If you crave information regarding Tina Fey's scar, you have come to the right place. This site is dedicated to providing all available information. The truth is out there. Maybe."

Well today, questions have been answered. Truth has been revealed. In a Vanity Fair article, Tina Fey's husband explains the mystery saying that a stranger slashed her face when she was 5 years-old outside of her house. How brutal and traumatic!

However, for those fascinated with the scar's existence and its mystery, fear not. There are still many questions to be unearthed - Who was this brutal stranger? Were they caught? Why did this happen? Did Tina ever get revenge? Will these questions find answers? ... The truth is out there. Maybe.

This why Anderson Cooper is one of my favorite anchors - from his impeccable reporting in New Orleans to taking off his clothes and challenging Michael Phelps to a swimming duel, its never boring. He can report on anything and it will be magic. Mark my words, if Anderson's on TV, I'll watch it.

Not sure what I like better, his Kenny Chesney interview or his recent Michael Phelps one. Andersonnnnn, you are my hero.
